"Masterpiece ... incredible ... of immense value ... enormous contribution to creationism ... evokes any number of superlatives."
Dr. Carl Wieland, managing director, Creation Science Foundation Ltd., Australia

"Superb, even better than superb."
Dr. David Noebel, president of Summit Ministries and author of Understanding the Times

"The Biotic Message, a bold and fascinating attempt to state a comprehensive theory, the short of which is that life is designed to convey a message that life is the product of a single designer -- as opposed to multiple designers or evolution. The thesis itself is exciting, and the argument for it provides a fresh perspective on a number of specific issues pertaining to evolution." .... "Original, and stimulating to the mind, and very thoroughly worked out. ... Well worth the money."
Phillip E. Johnson, author of Darwin on Trial, and Reason in the Balance, and professor of Law.

"It's an impressive work."
Dr. Michael Denton, author of Evolution, a Theory in Crisis

"Brilliant book"
Dr. John Mark Reynolds, professor of philosophy at Biola University, Origins Research, Volume 16, Number 1-2, Fall/Winter 1994

"This is not a book for the faint-hearted -- over 500 pages of solid text full of deep and technical analysis. But it is unique and outstanding. ReMine's genius in this book is to give us an enlightening focus on the 'whole picture'. .... ReMine's approach is much superior. .... ReMine has build a powerful foundation for a scientific case against evolution. He has also added some fine pieces of superstructure.  It is a marvelous achievement.  .... ReMine's book itself is very well-produced, with helpful footnotes and a good index.  .... the enormity of ReMine's achievement.  I can give no greater accolade than urging that this book should now be the starting point for all of our discussions.
Origins Magazine
, book review by Arthur Jones, No. 32, 2001 Technical Issue.

"Voluminous, well-written, thoroughly researched and beautifully bound. ReMine's bibliography and text references read like a who's who of pro-evolutionary icons with names like Darwin, Gould, Lewin, Lewontin, Futuyma, Strahler, Dobzhansky, Haldane, Crick, and even Skinner, Sagan and Hawking. The author quotes these scientists at length, critiques them and uses the research of one to contradict the other. ReMine is persuasive and challenging."
Dr. Thomas P. Ostrom, professor of anthropology, Commentary page, Rochester Post Bulletin, March 29, 1994

"I'd like to add my enthusiastic appreciation of Walter ReMine's book. I'd also like to strongly encourage everyone to request your library to purchase a copy. Anyone affiliated with a university, ask the university library to order it. Additionally, request that your local public library get a copy. .... I believe the book is an extremely valuable addition to the intelligent design literature and deserves a wide readership. The main reason for my enthusiasm is that Walter presents arguments in his book that, so far as I know, have not been presented anywhere else. He particularly shows that principles of population genetics work strongly against evolutionary theory. I myself was floored by his discussion showing that the sickle cell gene actively works through natural selection to exclude a more efficient mutant, HbC from gaining a foothold in malaria-prone populations. The reason I was astounded is that I did my thesis on sickle cell hemoglobin and I never thought of or read of the connection that Walter made. As far as Message Theory goes, in the book Walter does a great job of explaining it. The theory appears to be original, defensible, and scientific. Is it true? It very well could be, as far as I can see, and I look forward to a discussion of it."
Dr. Michael Behe, author of Darwin's Black Box, associate professor of biochemistry at Lehigh University

"Walter ReMine's The Biotic Message is the most significant book in the creation/evolution debate to be published in this past decade. While creationists today rejoice when others make clear the fact that the living world is the result of intelligent design, Walter has gone far beyond that to show there is an unmistakable message within that design. That message condemns evolution in any form and is the ultimate truth to defeat the New Age thinking already now in many churches."
Ian Taylor, author of In the Minds of Men, and chief executive of Creation Moments

"For those interested in an exhaustive research on the problems that the theory of evolution faces, and an alternative theory that postulates a creator who has designed every living thing, this book adequately covers the subject. It is an incredible contribution to creation understanding, and a blow to evolution. Others have written against evolution have praised this book as a masterpiece of comprehensiveness on the subject. ReMine explores every theory of evolution, pointing out the fallacies; he evaluates the fossil record, biology, embryology, cosmology, and other facets of the subject. His creation views are not from a Biblical perspective, but from a scientific investigation. Yet, what he concludes is consonant with what the Bible teaches as to God's creation account in Genesis. This should be a standard addition to anyone's library that studies this continuing controversy."
Dr. John H. Stoll, executive director, ASK Inc., ASK Newsletter, 1st Quarter 1998

"A comprehensive disclosure of the fundamental differences that separate creationists and evolutionists. A substantial contribution to origins literature."
Dr. Kenneth B. Cumming, Institute for Creation Research

"ReMine's thoughtful treatment offers one of the most difficult challenges evolutionists have faced in some time."
Paul Bartz, past editor of The BSA Newsletter, Book review: The Christian News, May 9, 1994

"ReMine does not neglect some of the hottest potatoes of the biological origins debate. He deals with the important issue of whether science is necessarily naturalistic. He tackles embryology, vestigial organs, and the illusion of fossil sequence and how this issue relates to message theory. There are also excellent sections on biogeography, cosmology and population genetics. Each topic comes under the knife of ReMine's sharp blade of logic. His surgery produces a beneficial readjustment of the reader's thinking, and settles all fear that creationism has no answer for evolution's most virulent challenges to the idea of a Creator. What's more, the author's treatment of each subject rests consistently within his unique model, thereby strengthening his primary thesis as well as each of its details. Simply put, ReMine's model and explanations work. ... suitable for the public classroom."
Paul Bartz, past editor of The BSA Newsletter, Book review in Creation Research Society Quarterly, Dec. 1994

"[A] rather large and monumental book, an imposing amount of information from various fields of interest to evolutionists and creationists. But ReMine confines his selection of the many quotations in the book almost entirely to evolutionists, exhibiting how their own data and conclusions fit with his message theory. .... [T]horoughly documented, and the text is spaced well for easy reading. Footnotes are copious. .... Even though this book can be of value to specialists in various fields of science, I still think its main "messages" will be intelligible to those without strong backgrounds in science. .... [T]he idea is original with ReMine, it merits serious consideration over an extended period of time. [A] vanguard type of book - a daring attempt... I hope that the book, heavy as it is, will be read widely and discussed frequently. I predict the main "truths" in this text will triumph in time."
Dr. Wayne Frair, professor, book review in Creation Research Society Quarterly, Dec. 1994

"This book is an original, valuable contribution to creationist thought, especially in the area of biology. .... ReMine says that he pursued the hobby of magic (illusion) for many years and that this prepared him well for the job of exposing evolutionary illusions. He does this masterfully as illusion after evolutionary illusion is exposed. .... At every turn, ReMine shows how evolutionary theory predicts nothing, .... ReMine does a masterful job of exposing the fallacy that population genetics supports evolutionary ideas. .... The evolutionary literature is thoroughly reviewed and critiqued. ReMine understands evolutionary theory better than most evolutionists. The book will inspire those who read it that biology only makes sense in light of creation. .... The volume is beautifully produced with good quality paper and binding. This is a book that should be read by anyone interested in the big picture, and especially biology. It is a landmark volume with many original insights"
Dr. Don Batten, in perhaps the most detailed review to date, Creation Ex Nihilo Technical Journal, vol. 11, no. 3, 1997, p 292-298

"Walter ReMine has a grasp of the many aspects of evolution. He speaks knowledgeably about the fossil record, genetics, phenetics, cladistics, biology, and many other topics related to evolution theory. .... ReMine's method is compelling. He quotes no authors except confirmed evolutionists and shows their arguments to be lacking in force."
Robert A. Banet, Homiletic & Pastoral Review, Sept. 1995, p 85-86

"This book will be used widely in creation circles. .... Genius of the book is both its comprehensiveness and its simplicity. It is not difficult to read even when the author gets into technicalities."
Walter Lang, founder of Bible-Science Association and Genesis Institute

"Characterized as 'a revolution in a book,' I find Walter ReMine's The Biotic Message to be at once the most original and erudite refutation of evolutionary theory in decades. This college-level textbook is profound without being abstruse; copiously documented without being tedious; convincing without being coercive; and thoroughly moral without being 'religious.' Here is a testable theory of creation that challenges all the classic evidences of biological evolution in a refreshing and exciting presentation. The Biotic Message belongs in every collection of scientific books."
Dr. D. James Kennedy, Coral Ridge Ministries, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

"[This book] could be as significant as Darwin's. I truly mean that."
Bill Overn, former director of the Bible-Science Association

"[It] should help persuade the intelligent layman that there is a great deal more to anti-evolutionism than Bible-Belt intransigence."
Tom Bethell, The American Spectator, July 1994, p 16-18

We "recommend" The Biotic Message, a "scholarly work full of footnotes ... based on solid scientific research by recognized experts in various fields."
The Wanderer -- National Catholic Weekly, Nov. 28, 1996, p 8

"The [Biotic Message] will assist any Christian student survive and even flourish in the biology departments of our nation's colleges and universities-both secular and Christian, and we have the testimony of countless Summit students using these types of materials to prove it." The article lists The Biotic Message number one in a list of 17 recommended books.

The Biotic Message is a book of outstanding quality. As a avid student of the creation and evolution controversy, I have never found a book from a creationist that has dealt so much with logic and reasoning as this book. It is truly awesome and it really exposes the naivety of evolutionary theory. As Dr. ReMine mentioned in the beginning, the theory of evolution is indeed a smorgasbord theory! In mathematical axioms, if one situation is found where the axiom doesn't work or fail, then the axiom or theory is discarded, so how come the same isn't true for the theory of evolution? I have encountered numerous examples of evidence that utterly contradicts evolutionary theory, (..., absence of transitional fossil forms etc. etc. etc.). Dr. ReMine couldn't have been more right also when he mentioned that evolutionists create double standards in making people think their theory of origins is scientific while at the same time relating creationism with religious myth. They do create double standards! Not only does evolutionary theory stand against rigorous scientific inquiry, the evolutionists themselves do things that just don't follow the rules of science! I just can't wait to finish reading his book because it is awesome and it, besides the Bible itself, has changed my life! No joke! Dr. ReMine, if you ever read this, thank you dearly for your work to creationist literature and thought! God has blessed you with a wonderful gift for writing on such scientific issues as this! Keep up the good work!
Robert Eric Frank, Boise, Idaho, United States

"It is impressive the amount of effort you put into examining the original evolutionist works to ensure a fair analysis of the claims made. It is particularly valuable to identify in The Biotic Message a list of arguments and the logical structure used, followed by a well-thought out reply."
Royal Truman, Germany

"I had grown up believing in evolution (and essentially with an atheistic background) but that in college (about 14 years ago) as I delved deeper into the subject, I came to see just how empty the theory really was. Ever since then I have been dabbling in the creation/evolution debate and found your book to be one of the best I have seen. Many of your arguments put into concrete forms suspicions and vague questions I had concerning evolution. I thank you!"
Greg Whipple, Providence, RI

"Walter ReMine expertly shows how evolutionary theory has many gimmicks that evolutionists invoke to make it unfalsifiable.  He also presents tons of supporting quotations and many new/ original creationist interpretations of existing data.  ... well worth it to me for the references alone.
David Ford, on talk.origins 1999/08/25 "Question on Evolution"

"You wrote a book of high quality! Your style of explanation fits my pattern of thinking. My friend and I want to start a study at church and use your book as the main reference. He is also enthusiastic about your book, I gave him one of the copies."
Sven Oborn, Fredericton, Canada

"Thank you for a wonderful book. It was comprehensive, powerful, insightful, and very original. Did I say how much I enjoyed your work?!!"
David P. Woetzel

"The most persuasive, cogent and debunking evolution book I have ever come across in my life as a Science Education researcher. Brazilians and Portuguese speaking people need to have this book translated into Portuguese as soon as possible."
Professor Enezio E. de Almeida Filho, Sao Paulo, Brazil

"The Biotic Message is an incredible reference source that is both broad and deep. It covers most every topic in the origins subject and does so with decisive reasoning. Every subject is meticulously documented by a wealth of citations to leading evolutionists speaking in their own words."
John P. Turnbull, Cleveland, Ohio

"This is one of the new must-read books in creation/evolution literature for all serious students. An absolute must for students of the life sciences to help clarify issues they study in the classroom. Well worth the cost. Time and again I've found ideas and arguments half-formed in my mind to be fully fleshed out in The Biotic Message, in greater force and detail than I would have thought possible. It has been claimed that your enemy can be your greatest teacher. Mr. ReMine has taken this lesson to heart in confronting evolutionists so ruthlessly (if I may use the term) with the results of their own labors and writings. It is easy enough to find accolades and blurbs endorsing virtually any book, but The Biotic Message really deserves every laudatory phrase I've seen applied to it. It is well worth the investment in time and money to investigate it thoroughly."
Eric Blievernicht, Westland, Michigan

"As a creationist who bought and read the book, I highly recommend it. .... Many, many documented quotes from evolutionists revealing their underlying inability to reconcile evidence and theory."
Dan Hughes, talk.origins Message-Id: <5knqsf$d7t@ionews.ionet.net>

"Scholarly"
Paul T. Butler, The Joplin Globe, Internet edition, August 20, 1996

"Your book is a must."
Santiago Escuain, president, SEDIN - Evangelical Service of Documentation and Information, Girona, Spain

"Apart from the Bible I've never been so enthralled by a book in all my life!"
Christopher Chaney, Horseheads, New York

"I found The Biotic Message to be an excellent book, containing information which has been obscured to hide the hidden agenda of "Evolution". Everything was laid out such that it has become a field guide to me in having debates with evolution proponents at all levels of the controversy. The methodologies of debunking evolution are not only powerful, they prove useful in sciences other than biology. I have begun researching many technical papers and books dealing with evolution, from the cosmology, geology, and quantum physics; Message Theory has proven itself to be the only way to explain and predict anomalies within these sciences. The book is without a doubt the best in its class, no other book can compare to The Biotic Message in being simple enough for the layman and technical enough to shock those who consider themselves highly educated. Walter deserves recognition for his efforts in creating this masterpiece."
Dennis D Whitney, Federal Way, Washington

"The Biotic Message has been a 'life changing' book for me."
Russ McGlenn, Adventure Safaris, Minneapolis

"This is a great book!! It taught me a lot about the creation-evolution controversy and gave me information that is valuable to use in discussions with evolutionists. This book has a wealth of quotations from evolutionists that are very revealing of the weaknesses in the theory of evolution. I hope that more people read this book and wake up to the fact that evolution is a theory without a foundation in fact."
David A. Plaisted, Chapel Hill, NC

"Excellent Book!!! I was both amazed and impressed with Mr. ReMine's handling of the subject. He really did dismantle the evolutionary shell game in language that was technical enough to cover the point, yet simple enough to understand. I was particularly impressed with one of the early chapters on the logical necessity of supernatural truth in mathematics. I had never heard anyone contend for the rationality (not to mention logical necessity) of unproven, supernatural truth. For me, the book would have been worth reading just for that proof! Message theory has seriously changed my outlook on life, science, and even deepened my awe of our Creator. I can no longer read a book on evolution without considering how the facts and observations fit with Message Theory. Thanks for what I believe to be the most important and comprehensive book concerning the origin of life."
Walter Edgar, Baton Rouge, LA

"I just finished reading your excellent book The Biotic Message. I enjoyed it very much and intend to reread it several times to gain the maximum benefit from it. I was impressed by your scholarly, detailed approach to critiquing evolutionary theory. Point by point you show that evolutionary theory (especially the theory of natural selection) is not really scientific, because it is not testable. You also clear away the many evolutionary illusions that have been created by evolutionists to give the false impression that evolutionary theory is science, when it is not. This is especially useful for creationary and evolutionary theorists who are interested in the truth on origins. You stress that the testability (or falsifiability) of a theory is a necessary criterion (actually, the main criterion) for it to qualify as science. Unfortunately, for evolutionists, evolutionary theory as presently formulated just does not measure up as genuine science, despite the many vociferous claims to the contrary. Evolutionists almost always claim that creationary theory is not science, but you show otherwise. I especially like your statement, 'Creation is not merely our best science. It is our only science'. I believe that more creationists (and evolutionists) ought to read your book, because it is the best modern book that presents a testable creationary theory, 'message theory'. Your theory is worthy of careful and thoughtful study by both creationists and evolutionists. Thank you, Walter, for writing this excellent book."
Hans-Friedrich Tamke, Saskatoon, Canada
