The Writings of Andy Fox

I would like to give a special welcome to any visiting members
from the TTAFF Mailing List.

Andy Fox: the contract consultant, the scientist, the... writer? Sure, I guess so. Anything is possible. I never had any intentions on becoming a fan fiction writer for cartoons. For some years I had been playing around with some small tidbits of stories I had written, but after being inspired by a wonderful TTA fanfic writer on the Tiny Toon Adventurss fan fiction mailing list (he knows who he is!), I began releasing my own fanfic, including my first major work: N: The Autobiography of Andy Fox. I now write semi-regularly for the TTAFF mailing list, and for the general cartoon fandom.

Most stories here feature me, Andy Fox, in some fashion or another. These stories are cartoon fan fictions.. I write them primarily for myself and the community of animated cartoon fans who enjoy Warner Brothers cartoon characters. As such, I expect the reader to have some knowledge of cartoon characters, and an interest in reading about them. If you have no idea who Bugs Bunny is, or if you do not believe that cartoon characters can have a life outside of their cartoons, you are probably in the wrong place :-)

Andy Fox hasn't been feeling himself lately. Since bringing Fluffy home to live with him, he has been at odds with his animal spirit within, feeling he has somehow abandoned it by his modern lifestyle. This feeling is enhanced as he gives a lecture to the Tiny Toons about animal heritage near their graduation from Acme Looniversity. The situation is further complicated as two lab mice take up an unexpected journey, leading to an unexpected encounter. Helped along by some unexpected friends, Andy makes the decision of taking a very ancient toon ritual to re-unite himself with his fox heritage, even though it means leaving Slappy and Skippy, and abandoning everything he knows for an unknown future. This story is based upon the Andy Fox Chronicles storyline.

The Old Man
Original Release Date: December, 2002
Updates Since Original Release: 5/15/2003 (minor edits from comments given by Adams, himself)
Fan Fiction Classification: Watership Down
Never before has a single book inspired me to such a degree as to want to write a piece of fan fiction based upon it. This isn't a big, major piece of litterature. It is just a simple tribute to the novel--something I simply felt I needed to write to express the feelings that the novel stirred in me.

N: The Autobiography of Andy Fox
Original Release Date: October 2001
Updates Since Original Release: 05/08/2003
Fan Fiction Classification: Looney Tunes, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs
This story was submitted to the Tiny Toon Adventures Fan Fiction mailing list and appeared in the October, 2001 mailer.
This is the complete story of Andy Fox, from his creation to the beginning of the 21st century. It's everything you've ever wanted to know about him, but were afraid to ask.

A note from the author: N was my first fan fiction, and as such, displays much of my earlier, more stuffy and bland writing style. I would like to think that I have come a long way in my writing since the earlier chapters of this fanfic. The purpose of N: was to lay the groundwork for Andy Fox's history and get all the technicals out of the way, and it does this, though in an admittedly long and introspective way. I have toyed with the idea of extracting the important bits (like the chapters involving Slappy Squirrel) and making them into a new, fresh fanfic, But.... meh. Regardless, as it stands, N has received positive recognition in the fan fiction community, and I thank you for your interest in it.

The Andy Fox Chronicles
The "Andy Fox Chronicles" is a collection of short stories which continue the stories of Andy Fox, post-dating the events in his autobiography, and tend to fictionalize to a greater extent.

Slappy Rides The Fox (An adult TTBS version of this story is available upon request)
Original Release Date: May 2002
Updates Since Original Release: 05/19/2003 (more description of riding gear and some clean-up editing), 04/06/2003, 02/02/2003 (WB lot scene re-done with Elmyra instead of Yosemite Sam), 01/16/2003 (minor edits to give Slappy's riding less impact and add links to a future storyline)
Fan Fiction Classification: Animaniacs, Looney Tunes
This story was submitted to the Tiny Toon Adventures Fan Fiction mailing list and appeared as a "bonus item" in the May, 2002 mailer.
Slappy and Andy decide to "stir things up a bit" by having a bit of fun on the way to work. Meanwhile, Slappy, after a bit of consideration (and Andy repeatedly banging his head on Slappy's ceilings), decides to take Skippy and move in with him.
Accompanying Artwork: .Title Card. .The "rodeo" scene. .Skippy gets a turn (I didn't want to leave him out).

Fluffy (a.k.a. Slappy Rides The Fox - Part II): First Edition Second Edition (An adult TTBS version of this story is available upon request)
Original Release Date: 1st ed. July 2002, 2nd ed. November 2002
Updates Since Original Release: 06/13/2003, 05/19/2003, 04/30/2003 (some editing of Wile E.'s dialog), 04/07/2003 (minor snipping to neaten up Fluffy intro)
Fan Fiction Classification: Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Looney Tunes
This first edition of this story was submitted to the Tiny Toon Adventures Fan Fiction mailing list and appeared in the July, 2002 mailer.
A story filled with the simple magic and wonder of youth as Slappy and Skippy are introduced to Andy's "pet", a living carousel rabbit, and Slappy and Andy's relationship grows. Note: The second edition version was written for those who like to read stories in chronological order rather than release order. Since "Fluffy" was released first, but occurs after "A New Life", the second edition eliminates some redundent plot points amongst the two stories.
Accompanying Artwork: .Title Card. .Slappy in her ensemble.

Projects in the works

(I have taken a hiatus from fan fiction writing for a while since finishing
Forgotten Heritage, my best work to date which took a lot out of me.)

The Secret Rescuers of Watership Acme
Status: In work
Fan Fiction Classification: Tiny Toon Adventures
This is to be a completely absurb comedy starring the Tiny Toons. The plot is a mish-mash of at least three different animated feature storylines. Light-hearted humor filled with inside jokes and just plain fun to write. I hope it pays off as being funny to others!

Soup & Nuts
Status: In limbo
Fan Fiction Classification: Animaniacs
Squirrels, skunks, and chipmunks abound, hehehe.... well I'll keep the meat of this one secret, but it will be a comedy piece in tribute to a good friend who insists he has relations to Slappy Squirrel.

The Ceremony: A Story in the Andy Fox Chronicles
Status: In limbo
Fan Fiction Classification: Disney
Another item that may never get completely worked into a full story: A certain Disney toon undergoes an extremely rare transformation into a new type of life form.
